Amazing three-strand turquoise Heishi necklace made in Kewa, Santo Domingo Pueblo, by a Coriz, but I have forgotten her first name. The artist explained to me that the single bead in the waxed string, braided closure was her personal signature. The turquoise beads are hand shaped and the spacers are olive shell. The necklace is 32 long (around), with 24 of those inches in Turquoise, three strands. Larger beads are about 5/8 of an inch in width, and the smaller beads are almost 3/8 of an inch to 3/16 of an inch in width.
The necklace weighs 4 ounces on my scale. Send carefully packaged in a box. This item is in the category "Jewelry & Watches\Ethnic, Regional & Tribal\Necklaces & Pendants".
