Magnificent Native American Indian handmade Santo Domingo three strand long turquoise necklace created by Ely Montoya, Santo Domingo Pueblo. Various hues of turquoise are contained in this one necklace.Turquoise stones taper from approximately 3/8" wide at the bottom to slightly over 1/8" wide at where it joins the penshell heishi. Measures 14" long from the silver chain at the top to the bottom of the loops (28" long from end to end). The necklace is strung with a myriad of smooth genuine turquoise wide heishi beads and shell heishi. Each genuine turquoise heishi bead is separated by a single, small penshell heishi.
This allows the stones to drape properly. Black and various shades of brown matrix. Has fine shell heishi on both ends. Sterling silver chain, cones and hook and eye closure.
